Just under one year and around 350rds through it. Shield Plus Performance Center, Ported. Took it to a CCW class this last weekend and ran around 100 rds flawlessly and shot very well. Last night almost could not get the slide off the frame, was a big struggle. Thinking I need to clean it more...

Have you ever owned a higher end 1911? (Wilson, Nighthawk, Ed Brown, Guncrafter, Springfield Custom, Les Baer, Alchemy Arms, etc.... Or even some FULL House, super expensive custom 1911s) If so, which ones?
