I have been experimenting with the Montana Gold 165 Gr RNFP bullet for IDPA. I have been loading it to power factor +10% with WW231 powder. They have been working great!! Soft shooting with very little muzzle rise and no muzzle flash when shooting a night match.

I came into a good deal on 25 lbs of AA#2 so I'll be running some tests with that powder in the next few weeks. I'll keep you posted.

AA#2 worked very well with the 165 grain bullets. The only problem I encountered with the powder was a slight loss of velocity at high ambient temperatures. This powder meters exceptionally well so the shot-to-shot consistency was good. I was getting a sub 10 standard deviation. No pressure problems at all. Also has a very low muzzle flash when shooting indoors or outdoors at night.
