Thanks to Dan's trigger job, I now love the MP9c. Here is a picture of the first 100 rounds fired from the gun without one failure. 7 and 15 yards and some failure drill too. Great pointing weapon. I'm confident that it couldn't have been done with the trigger the way it was. While I'm not yet a convert from the big "G", I'm well on my way.

Thanks again Dan.

I just did the first part of the trigger job along with a little polishing of the back of the sear. Gives about a 6# pull, with much reduced overtravel. Very easy to do, just follow the detailed directions.

Like and G26?

I have been patiently waiting (well, not really) for somebody in the Seattle area to have the Compact in store...I simply am not willing to buy one without putting my paws on it. I shot the full size, and loved it, but I think it might be a little to big to carry concealed on a regular basis. My only other point of comparison is the Glock 26...does this handle similar to the G26? Thanks.

readyme,

I would say the M&P9c points a little better than the G26, has slightly less felt recoil. It also holds 13 rounds vs 11, has a slightly longer barrel, magazines drop free much better than the Glock "drop free" mags. All in about the same size package. Ergonomically, (to use a million dollar word) it is far superior to the Glock. Time will tell if the M&P pistols will have the longevity like the Glock. I just sold my G27, (which was just broken in, 30,000+ rds.) to a friend of mine. I believe it is good for another 300,000-500,000 rds. We shall see if the M&P stacks up. The M&P appears to be a very well made and thought out weapon. I wish Fobus had a holster out for it. They say about a month.
