I purchased a 2.0 in .45 acp a couple of months ago and am struggling to find a pet load. I have worked up variations with 185gr JHP and 230gr JHP mostly with XTP's and some Golden Sabers but cannot seem to find an accurate load even with trying to vary the velosity. I just can't seem to hit on the right combination. If anyone would share their pet load I would be most appreciative.

Just posted on my love of the Shield 45. I have yet to find an inaccurate load for my Shield. I use Acme coated bullets for the most part in 185-200gr variations. My powder of choice is Hodgdon Longshot at max load for the bullet weight. For plinkers, I use Hodgdon Titegroup powder, again at max load.
