Well as I said in the introduction post.. I'm one of the "new guys"

I picked up my Like New ina Box 9c on Saturday morning and went to shoot that afternoon.

I found that of the 4 Mag's I was not able to put 12 rounds in 2 of them. They topped out at 11.

I am guessing that it is because this gun truly was nearly new and not fired much. I plan to take it apart and

clean it up real nice tonight, Is there anything I should look at to see about the 12th round issue?

I assume that with time, the spring will lighten up a bit and the 12 will go in with out great effort.

Any other pointers for the new guy?

This is the first Modern era gun I have purchased. We now have a 1958 Ruger Std. and Mid 40's Rohm .22 and this Sweet 9c.

Thanks in advance

I had the same problems with the 10rd magazines for my 40c. Keep your 11 rounds in them for a couple of days. It should allow you to squeeze in the 12th after the spring loosened up a bit.

Enjoy your new toy

Warning * if you do decide to purchase one of these wonderful products, please keep in mind that you will, no doubt go thru way more ammo.....
LOL, that's why I don't have one yet!

I had the same problem but it solved itself after a few days and some hard pressing....I'm fighting getting an UPLULA everyone loves it though so I have to wonder am I truely missing out.

Load them all up with twelve (you're going to injure your thumb getting that last one in there but it is possible, I assure you) and let them sit for a while. The longer, the better. I've done that to all four of my mags and can load twelve with no problem now.

Tap the mag on your hand such that the cartridges seat farther towards the rear. That seems to give me a small amount more room.

Good luck and enjoy your new toy.

I must have very weak springs in mine... I had zero problems loading mine the first time, it was quite simple actually. Much easier than loading my well broken in glock 27 mags. I have a hard time believing that a UPLULA loader could speed me up much.

I didn't have any issues with either of my 12rd mags upon purchasing my 9c. Perhaps you got a newer style of spring which is stiffer or stronger. Having a little coat of oil on your mag springs and follower seems to help the loading process also, and is not imperative for regular cleaning. I think in 1200 rounds I've cleaned my 2 magazines on one occasion, and that was after 2 pretty long days outside in the elements.

My 40c only holds 10 in mag + one in the pipe. Are you saying you fit more than that in your gun?

I've never tried more, as thats what the owners manual states.
