no your right he is not going to ban anything the UN treadies he signs will!!! He knows he can not do it by our laws so he will go international to do it !
I don't trust the Democrats to not try to ban guns or ammo. The mere act of trying is fodder for their base.
As far the OP goes, I don't mind when stores voluntarily put limits on scarce items like limit 1 or 5 items with the same UPC code. What I mind are "community activists" demanding they do so. I was one of those who bought a lot of ammo last fall whenever I saw it. I did so because my stocks at home were low and my purchasing forays were few and far between. The guy you're bitching about may have been in the same boat.
I don't see why I should have to pass up on ammo I know I can and will use while it's there. If I hadn't bought what I did last fall, I wouldn't be able to shoot now.
Ah...people might get fired up for a few days until Dancing with the stars or American Idol comes on and then they will forget all about it. Americans today do not come from the same stock as the framers and patriots of the past.
Most Americans are lazy, indifferent, or apathetic, and have no sense of what sacrifice is all about. There will never be any uprising or revolution no matter how many rights are taken away. As long as people have cable TV, and government handouts, they'll be content.
Those few who do possess a fighting spirit and are willing to resist will be marginalized at best. The "New World Order" (to what extent, I'm not sure) is coming whether we like it or not.
David, I believe you are right IMO. More people are interested in voting for the next American Idol idiots then the idots running the Nation. "O"No has mentioned the "New World Order" a couple of times.
I hear some folks complaining about Bo-tox Nancy & her henchmen but when I ask what they are doing about it they tell me "it's useless to do anything" they then go back to their boob tube and being content while our elitist leaders sell out our Nation.

GunGeek I SERIOUSLY hope that you are not accusing me of being a "community activist" lobbying stores for limits on ammo sales! If you are, then you must not have really taken the time to think about my comments not to mention the fact that I take serious umbrage in that comment.
I just consider you one of those inconsiderate people who would rather screw over your likeminded counterparts rather than suffer a couple hundred round shortage in your carrying average of stock. I'm not saying you should or need to change. Afterall, I believe in your right to be like that. I believe in the right for anyone to be like any way they want. You guys standing on a soap box railing on about the individual, your rights to do whatever the hell you please, "don't tell me what I can and can't do", etc. etc. are missing THE BIG PICTURE (please read my other posts again...) The reason why you have the right to act like a selfish prick is because of sacrifices others have made for you.
Time, effort, money, and blood of thousands of individuals have been sacrificed for you and me so that we have the right to do whatever the hell we want (like clear the shelf of ammo during a shortage and not have to give a damn). If the patriots of yesterday and today had the same "me only" mentality that so many of you here do what would this country look like today. You wouldn't dare accuse the fore fathers of being communist, liberal, socialist, etc. would you?!?!?! You assume any and all collective, social movement or accord is communist and anti-individualistic but collective, social movement is what caused the Revolutionary War! I don't think leaving 50 rounds of 7,500 on the shelf is too big of a sacrifice, do you? Would you still clear out the shelf in front of me if I walked in behind you and you learned that I was ready to deploy overseas in a couple weeks and wanted to get extra time in at the range? What if I was an LE trying to score some extra rounds in order to sharpen my skills so that I could better serve you. When you just blindly clear the rack of say, 7,500 rounds of a certain kind of ammunition during this time of shortage, you are effectively flipping off not only regular sheep dog citizens protecting their loved ones like me, but also officers and soldiers just for the sake of your precious stock. Again though, you have the right to do that and I would never wish for that to change. You can either continue to be ignorant of the big picture or you can acknowledge it and stop contributing to the craziness.
So go ahead and keep it up. Take down all the ammo you can. I, personally, would rather leave at least one box on the shelf for someone who might need it more immediately than I will. If that's the most I'd ever have to sacrifice for the good of all shooters I don't think it's that terrible or off-putting. In fact, I find it patriotic.
Yeah, I had a desire to write my State representatives today about impending legislation, but...I got preoccupied with the NFL draft and all, you know how it is...
