I figured I would wait until I actually had my gun in hand before formally introducing myself. This was my first gun purchase, M&P .40, and I love it. This forum as well as S&W's customer service reputation pushed me towards the M&P, and renting one at the range sealed the deal. I grew up shooting .22 long rifles, but pistols are a fairly new world to me, so lots of noob questions to follow. Thanks for having this place!

You found the right site. Glad to have ya. Your experience probably mimics mine, but the more I shoot my MP 40 the better it gets.
