When I first did the crocskin style, the pattern looked and felt great on backstraps, but after sacrificing a part of my competition gun to try it out, I quickly realized that it was too big of a pattern for a good match it the frontstrap were given a similar treatment.
So I "scaled" down the size of the tip I used for the scales. :roll:
I wish the backstraps were made of harder plastic, it would make matching complicated patterns much more easier.
My competition gun now has this on the FS and the chooch grip on the BS.
edit: on the frontstrap; this pattern is new champion of grippiness.
