Think I'm going to order mine early next week...so, a quick question: is there any other upgrade on the night-sight model other than night sights (i.e., an extra mag, stippling, anything like that)?

Yea, it makes you run faster since your wallet is lighter.

Seriously though, the NS's are great and all but geez, are they asking for a premium or WHAT

Hopefully some competition in the sight department will drive prices down slightly.



In short, nope, nothing extra except the tritium inserts.

Got the NS on mine, money well spent. My HD gun now. Shoot it better than all my other guns...

They are a worthwhile sure, but what I was getting at was I think S&W turns a higher profit off of the NS models.

Agreed. S&W charges WAY too much for NS...if you don't buy them on the gun. Much more than other manufacturers. Hopefully they will come down. S&W NS have always been high, unlike Sig or Glock. Aftermarket will help here.

Yep, since nothing else is in play as an incentive to account for the unusually large price gap, I'll be going w/ the regular sights. Thanks, everyone.
