So my MP40 is starting to fail the vertical test and I have a Reginal and State match comming up. I look on Brownells and they list one spring assembly for the 9, 357 and 40. Are they all 16lbs and the same size.

Crap, Brownells is backordered on the recoil springs. I guess it's off to Wolffs I go. I'll try a 16 and a 14 lbs.

How do they run the same spring in all 3? Overspring the heck out of the 9?

Thanks, Gringop

According to S&W the 9 and 40 use the same spring, I didn't ask about the 357. We may have one of the factory guide rod assemblies in stock but I would have to check on it. We do have non captured guide rods and ISMI flat wire springs in stock if you need one. The Wolff springs work but the flat wire springs don't "kink up" as bad as the round wire springs.
