Since you are from what I have seen, very knowledgeable when it comes to performance in ammunition. My question for you is this. I have been looking into getting a case/1000 rnds cheap plinking ammo. But dont really want to jump on another case of Wolf. I have been looking at Aguila from:

I would get more of the Ultramax, but that stuff was not great.

Any info on this stuff??

Thanks G56.

I don't have any knowledge about that particular brand, I haven't heard anything particularly good or bad about it that I can recall, and it isn't listed in the Ammunition Review & Reference.

I notice it's listed as out of stock anyway.

You might take a close look at the PMC, PMC has usually been pretty good basic ammo, it's a little higher than the Aguilla, but it's in stock.

PMC rates pretty well on the Ammunition Review & Reference.

Thanks G56. Yeah it was out of stock, but was hoping they would re stock at that price// But without a good review or 10 I will just pass.
Think I might go with the PMC, then again I noticed the SELLIER & BELLOT is pretty high on the list. Might have to look further into them??

Thanks again John for your time and brain

I guess it would depend on the bullet weight you wanted, the PMC is 165 gr and the S&B is 180 gr, and more expensive.

I am more or less just trying to experiment with different manufaturers, weights etc. Not that I am unhappy with the brands/weights I have been using, but just trying to to learn more about all the different makes without getting myself in trouble with cheap ammo
But you have to start small sometimes!

Thanks again G56
