I just got in from working on making an outdoor fire place/pit. Poured the cement last weekend I was setting the stone today just a bit more work and I should be ready for fire next weekend. Just in time for those cool fall nights. Now to catch up on some TV, then out to the shop to work on some guns.

Clear in the mid 70's. Sun about to set. Getting ready for an IPSC practice shoot in the morning on my mountain. Had to tolerate broken clouds all day. The Deer should be wandering through shortly and a bit later perhaps an Elk or two will grace us with their presence.

Have a good un

Well, it's 60F here and 0 humidity. I'm having a whiskey and watching the Food Network with a 9 yr. old. I now know how Skybars are made. If I hadn't lost one of my critters this morning, it would have been a pretty good day. Installed some driving lights on the Jeep, a "direct replacement" that required an hour of retrofit reengineering... Tomorrow I shoot - a lot.

I worked from 6am to 6pm yesterday, then started my 10-hour commute home to KY from FL. I made it up into Birminghman before I decided to pull over, have a beer, and find a hotel. Now...I finish my drive home. Sometimes life as a traveling male gigalo is tiring.

We spent the day playing in the pool. That's why I'll never move from Texas! Don't worry Big Al says global warming will be there soon and you will be burning up!

Yea, it was 95 to 97 during the day here, and 73 to 79 at night (I got varying readings riding around)... close, but not as drastic as desert weather, especially for this swamp.

Well, I feel like doing nothing, watched the F-1 race this morning, ate some leftovers, had a beer. It's about 70 and the sun is shining, but I think I'll relax today, before another week at work. Don't feel like cleaning the guns. Don't feel like going anywhere to get food nothing to eat at the house. Hell, I might break into one of my MRE's for dinner. Talk about bored!!

Sorry to hear that man, get someone to open the window for you so you can atleast catch some of the breeze and have a beer on me.

As for me, not necessarily bored...just putting off work. And it is glorious.

Well I spent the 1st part of the day nursing a slight hangover from the four or five beers I had last night (I know I'm a light weight now days), did a short spin around Wally World to pick up a few things, watched the Cowboys kick the stuffings out of Miami and then took a short dip in my pool. We will order some delivery junk food or go get some BBQ later. Not a bad day but it would have been better if I could have spent a hour or so at the gun range. Just couldn't work it in.

See what you young guys got to look forward to. Life is good even at the ripe old age of sixty nine!!!
