Loner, I like the "S" trigger. I have fairly small hands and wear gloves on duty and for SWAT so having the trigger engaging at the rear works best for me. I have done a few "L" triggers with good reviews.
The extra pre travel does not effect me because I use what we refer to a slack out trigger managment. Meaning I am pressing the trigger on a commited shot as I press the gun from the chest area to the target.
