I'm the proud owner of a MP 9c and i have a CCW question.

I'm far from new to handguns but i am new to CCW

What is the best way to carry in cargo pants pocket?

The big thigh on left thigh (yes i'm a lefty)

I was looking into inside the pocket holsters and the DeSantis Pocket Holster

caught my eye for top pocket, but seems even with the size/weight of the 9c

the thigh pocket is too large for just a pocket holster.

Anyone here ever carried in those large pockets? and if so what worked best for you?

Thank You for any help or suggestions.

The best way to carry with cargo shorts IMO is with a good belt and a good IWB holster.

those cargo pockets would be no good, brother...

1. you wouldnt have quick access

2. that gun would keep banging on the side of your knee while you walk. after a couple hours, you'd be dying of pain in that spot.

just get a good iwb, as choochboost said. i personally like the Comp-tac MTAC.

The only trouble i'm having with IwB is.........

This was a rough spring and i gained a few pounds,

I mean all my darn cargo pants shrunk in the closet and i'm

lucky just to get them buttoned as it is.

I wear those camo cargo shorts during the summer.

I tried a couple OWB and the 9c is just to bulky.

It fits in my front pocket fine but no way am i putting it

unholstered into my pocket. lol

Wife only asks no cheap 80's plether fanny pack.

So looks like I'll order a black hawk fanny pack and keep

my eyes and ears open for a nice fitting pocket holster.

(for winter coat, ect....)

good thing i have winter to get my butt back to the gym.

Here is an option, hope the link will take you to YouTube. I tried it out and found it a little awkward but doable. Dave is a great guy to work with and when I sent it back he even refunded my shipping costs (which no one has ever DONE before). Give it a try and maybe it will work for you.

Other than that, I use the CompTac MTAC IWB holster. Its not comfortable by any means, but until these morons start letting us OC its just about the ONLY option.
