The barrel is 5". I guess the photo angle makes it look like a long slide. Have not been able to shoot it yet. It came with a 10# recoil spring - set up for minor loads. I don't reload so I only have WWB ball which is considered major. I picked up an 18# spring today - will install it tonight and try to get the range tomorrow. It feels pretty good just to hold it. The slide feels like it is on ball bearings and the trigger is about 3.5 lb.

Range Report

I've put 350 rounds (WWB & UMC) through it. Not a hiccup. I'm more than pleased with the results. The weak link in this is probably my 64 yr old eyes.
