Just acquired a 9c and was wishing the second, non-extended baseplate was the extended version. Does anyone know if we can buy the extended baseplate separately?



I know Jester made a +1 baseplate for the full size. Will it fit the Compact mag?

You will be able to buy the Factory baseplates from S&W in the future. They are currently using all of them in production guns.

I've also heard on other forums that the mags are not available because they are using them all in production and that is simply not true.

Jester (MP-Store) has had some compact mags in with finger ext. They sold out very quickly.

You can call S&W and order them. They will probably be on backorder, but you will get them.

Here was the reply I got from S&W on March 2 when I made this inquiry. I prefer the finger rest also.



We send both types of magazine out with each weapon. This allows the owner decide which type they prefer. We will be offering the butt plates for sale, but they are not yet available. They are limited to production of the magazines and will be available for purchase in 1-2 months.
