I have a love / hate relationship with Desantis holsters. Over the last couple of months I have ordered a total of 5 holsters from them. The leather form and leather quality is excellent. Two out of the five are paddle holsters. Both Paddles have already cracked or broke ( Very Cheap ). Customer service is real bad. They do not reply to any emails. Canceling or returning a product is a nightmare. I, from personal experience would reccomend Comp-Tac.

I have a DeSantis Speed Scabbard 2. It is okay for an OWB holster. I am looking at the holsters that K&D Holsters have. I like the looks of them and since they sponsor this site
I will do business with them before someone who doesn't support this site.

I ordered the Desantis Speed Scabbard from the S&W site for my M&P 9c; received it in just a few days.

It is a fine holster for OWB, but it didn't tuck the pistol in close to my side (5' 6"; 176 lbs) which I wanted for concealment. I've kept it as a range holster but for CCW I replaced it with one of Nate Gable's Canute IWB holster (www.ubgholsters.com). The Canute is great for that purpose.

I've got one and love it. With an untucked shirt I can hide my 40 just fine. feels good up or in cant, its just up to you how you want it. In cant pos. you can hide the full size handle easier. Since i got my C-TAC I dont wear it much any more though.
