Is there a list somewhere of modifications that a layman like myself could do? I have heard enough about grip texturing with a soldering iron that I feel I could do that. What about polishing internal parts? I would think a felt wheel and a little polishing compound would work, I just need to know what parts of the feedramp and chamber need to be worked on.

Are there other things that I could do myself fairly easily?

Please post ideas and where to find info on DIY ideas.

I did the trigger job with absolutely no prior firearm experience. After researching it on here and reading all the tips and tricks it wasnt bad. Granted if I get the money I will send my next one to Mr. Burwell to really put the touch on it. The results are pretty amazing, the reset is very crisp...I just lack the cajones (and indepth knowlege) to really grind it down to the 4 lb range.
