I just had to do this guys. I know I'm the only one who does it.



My M&P is "Amy", after a very close friend of mine, and my Rem 870 is "Emma", don't really have a good reason for that one. I've got a 908 on layaway, but I don't have a name for it yet, oh well, I still got some time before it needs a name.



So what has everyone else named their guns?

Colt 45 1911 is "Mr. Friendly"

Dan Wesson .357 is "Dan"

Kel-tec P32 is "Kelly"

Ruger New Vaquero is "Cowboy"

The only one of mine that ever got named was the SKS - A friend of mine named her Elvira. Not sure why but it stuck.

many years ago, I had my first real target rifle built, a Model 70 with a very heavy obermeyer barrel.



i showed it to my friends at the club, one of them hefted the thing and grunted a new line from blazing saddles..... "Mongo like shooting"



that rifle got named Mongo



someone else owns Mongo now



I haven't named any others, but they all have an abbreviation for notes or record keeping, like MP40 or 6.5fwt or 20p
