I'm thinking about buying this and using my Dremel 4000 to mill off the two rear nubs and then slightly lower the two front nubs, so I can mount an RMSc optic.
Has anyone any experience with this? Do you think the clearance can be tight enough to mill the nubs without scraping up the rest of the slide surface?

I'm trying for a more professional approach vs what this guy did on his hellcat.
If I had the budget (and room for it), I'd step up a bit $-wise and get a routing table for my router.

Someone needs to teach that guy 👆 how to work a file
I will also note: that the Hellcat's mounting screws for the red dot can only protrude .095' as one goes right into the extractor springs tunnel
The screws need to be shortened to accommodate = be ground down with a Dremel slowly & measured often, only three threads remain when it's perfect = GO SLOW

WELCOME TO THE FORUM @SFTX

I put a Romeo zero on my Springfield Hellcat & it fit 100% Perfectly except the M4 SIG Screws were too long
Also picked up a "We The People" Holster for the Hellcat cut for the Red Dot

I did that to my Shield Plus to mount the small (407??) Holoson to it. Not with a dremel, didn't know they made something like that,

If you can get the right bit/cutters for it and go slow while checking often it out to work.

Had it to the range, once, worked fine, that time. Need to go again, many times.

Good luck on your project.

I've used one of those dremel tables before and they are not sturdy at all, mostly made of plastic. The whole thing was bending and flexing and I was just routing some wood, I'd hate to see it with metal. I would personally expect better results using a high quality cut 2 file and going slow. I have seen other dremel tables made by different companies that seemed to be much better quality but I can't remember the names and i've never actually used one of them. Either way, I hope it works out for you.

Thanks for the info!

Btw, I just checked the slide with my calipers.
The front to rear of the optics cutout has a ~.30mm difference in height. So, it's slightly sloped.
