I've used one of those dremel tables before and they are not sturdy at all, mostly made of plastic. The whole thing was bending and flexing and I was just routing some wood, I'd hate to see it with metal. I would personally expect better results using a high quality cut 2 file and going slow. I have seen other dremel tables made by different companies that seemed to be much better quality but I can't remember the names and i've never actually used one of them. Either way, I hope it works out for you.I'm thinking about buying this and using my Dremel 4000 to mill off the two rear nubs and then slightly lower the two front nubs, so I can mount an RMSc optic.
Has anyone any experience with this? Do you think the clearance can be tight enough to mill the nubs without scraping up the rest of the slide surface?
