If you have problems finding one specifically for the MP45, you can use a Glock 21 holster. You will probably have to heat the hood up and reform it (or simply cut a notch out) but they work.

Anyone have information on a duty holster for the 45 that excepts the 45 and a tac light

I called Safariland here in Ontario Ca and asked them if they carried holsters for the S&W MP45. She told me they only carry one model: The model 6360 ALS Level II Plus w/ride UBL. Model # 6360-419-81 (81 is right handed) don't know number for lefthand. She also indicated that they currently don't carry any that will take a tac light.

Some of the posts here that say holsters made for the Glock 21 may fit. The Safariland 6280 model 6280-3830-81 may fit the MP45 with the Surefire x200 but would check your local stores to see for sure. Call Safariland @ 800-347-1200 if need to.

I'm on the edge of buying a MP45 for reserve duty here in Calif but also want to find a holster that will take a tac light. Good luck!
