I'm thinking of putting this on my new AR. Found one for $346.64 at Buds. Anyone now where they are less?

I just found this site it looks like the same as buds. Eotechs do serve a purpose my little brother had one mounted while he was in Iraq and said it was real easy to pick up a sight picture anf have tight groups. I would rather have an ACOG but thats just me :wink:

I've got a question. I am going shoot 55gr fmj at range with my 15A (it's a $ thing), but will load out for defence with 68gr. to 77gr. HPs, With my ecotech will this change POA at 100 yds and less. Or should I just shoot 55gr. HPs for defence? Help please.

I doubt that it will change much, especially if you are using it as a defensive weapon in the house. Now at 100-200m then it obviously will change, but not by that much ahead shot at 100m may turn into a throat shot.

You have a 1/9 twist so 55gr-69gr will work best for you. I would stay away from 77gr as you might get into some issues.



There will be a difference between 55gr POI and a 69gr POI. If I was using your gun for home defense, I would load it with either Hornady 55gr TAP or 60gr TAP and then shoot the Hornady 55gr TAP Practice ammo. This way, you zero is always the same (for both your defensive round and your practice round).
