When performing a slide lock reload, seating the mag briskly. On my M&P (9mm), this trips the slide release, but it will not consistently feed the round from the mag under these conditions. I have problems with 125 ball ammo and 125 hydra shock.



Has anyone else encountered this?

I've never experienced any failures to feed when I slam the magazine home. I take you don't get any when you manually release the slide lock lever? Can you give us some history of your M&P? How many rounds has been through it and so on.

I have had the gun about 2 weeks now. I put 15 rounds through it to see if it worked and checked the sights. I shot an IDPA match with it and the first time I reloaded the gun tied up, the second time, same thing. The gun had been cleaned an lubed. Currently it has about 150 rounds through it.



I will try to make it to the range on Thursday to put a few hundred rounds through it.
