Retired yes, 2005 Gold Wing GL1800, 4,000 miles in 2 weeks.

My stepdad used to buy beat up gold wings and refurbish them he had a couple then a deer jumped out in front of him and windy mn roads with no shoulder, he hit the deer and the ems found him 45 minutes later the only thing that saved his life was his helmet. needless to say after a couple punctured organs cracked ribs and 5 months of healing he decided to give up bikes...

80 at day light one morning last week,86% humidity, heat index 88. At day break I said
they should change the name of this place to Hell. I am ready for fall too.

+1 for FALL lets see why:



1. Can put more clothes on than can take off "especially without scaring little children" :roll:

2. Can any one say ROLL TIDE (SEC FOOTBALL)

3. Deer Season (fire up the bbq hunting is not catch and release)

4. Less Humidity



I could go on forever but you get the idea.
