Favorite hand held LED light?

What's everyone's favorite handheld, tactical style flashlight?

Years ago - I was a super huge LED collector. I had like 30 of them, about 10 years ago...

Now, I just have a few I use. I have owned many brands, but Eagletac is my favorite brand (they recently shortened their name to EagTac).

I have two of their lights that are 13 years old, all beat up, and still work great. The P20C2 Mk II and T20C2 Mk II are amazing lights. I recently also bought an Eagtac T25L-R MK II. Basically a brighter version of that 13 year old T20 I had. And, the light recharges with a USB cable. No need to take the cell out to recharge it separately.

And, I also got the G3V rechargeable Eagletac as well.

I have a couple of Nightcores, 1 Olight (which I gave to my wife) and some old Solarforce Models. But, I have found the Eagletacs to be the toughest of the LED lights being sold now.

What are some of your favorites?

I have several of the Olight Warriors. Some mounted on AR15s and some handheld for around the house use.

I have several Streamlights. One or two on rifles (they are handheld lights but in a mount). Several around the house. Well, several is maybe 3.

I have Pelican rechargeable lights in all the vehicles.

Some are CR123 powered and I use rechargeable batteries for those. Some are 18650 powered. Again, rechargeable. One or two are those Streamlights than can use (I think) AA or 18650 batteries. I keep 18650's in them so they run longer before battery changes are required.

Never had an Olight or Streamlight fail yet.

My current edc handheld is this Modlite PLHv2 w/Thyrm Switchback. I dremmeled the beltclip off the Switchback for a better fit for me when using the Rogers technique.

I ordered another Nightcore flashlight earlier this morning. I have a problem :p

I needed something fairly small, and they had a good deal on it. You can get 15% total off your first order too. And, it uses a rechargeable battery. Couldn't pass it up :)

$40, and then 15% off of that...

I started only using rechargeable lights a few years ago. 👍

I have a zillion Surefire weapons / handheld lights. The Streamlight MIcrostream is the bomb. No need to dangerously point a weapon-loaded-mounted flashlight at unknown engagements. It's light, snaps on / off rails in a second, 250 lumens. It costs ~$40, LED re-chargeable, 60 hours of run time. A fraction of the cost of 300 lumen surefires. The clip mount allows for easy pocket / hat brim mounting. Original version used AAA battery. Just a few applications.

This came in yesterday. I bought it for the lower settings. But damn, it's bright on the highest setting. It is amazing how bright it is for the size that it is.
That little Nightcore that I linked to above is making a nice EDC light. Over 900 lumens on max, and I really like the lower settings and size...

I have a three Convoy S2+ that I built. Fully programmable with Samsung batteries. From tactical to practical. My favorite store bought are the Lumintop 2.0 and the Nicron N7, stinking bright swivel, mag base light. All can stand in as hand warmers on a cold dark night.
