I'm looking for fiber optic sights for 40, has any one found some ?What is the color of choice that people are going with? :?:

Speed Shooters Specialties has a fiber optic front. The only color front I've used is red so I have no basis for comparison but no complaints about that.

Dan does fantastic work. The sights on his forum are actually the speed shooter's I was refering to. If you send your firearm out to him, he'll get you set up with those sights. Of course, you might as well get a trigger job and maybe a bit more while you're at it. :wink:

Most Fiber Optic sights you can change pipe easily for color

Sights like the Speed Shooters it's fairly easy to change the pipe color if you don't like. I just came across nice illustration how to do at Dawson Precision's catalog - see page 6 http://www.dawsonprecision.com/images/pdf/DPCatalog.pdf



I have red right now on my M&P but I ordered red and green rods. It's like a $1 an inch so no biggie if I decide to change.

Click on the Fluorescent Fiber section. Comes in a wide variety of sizes.. and works good.



I've tried, RED, Green and Orange.. Red is good. Green to me is best and Orange is not bad either but i prefer the green.
