Not sure what you are looking for but here is a simple test:
1) Field strip the gun per the instructions.
2) With the slide off of the gun and the barrel out, pull the firing pin to the rear to make sure the safety plunger is disengaged. Then allow the firing pin to go to it's rest position.
3) Then attempt to push the firing pin forward with the plunger safety in it's normal position. You should not be able to see the firing pin protrude into the breech.
4) Now depress the plunger safety up into the side and try pushing the firing pin forward again. With the plunger safety depressed you should now be able to push the tip of the firing pin into the breech.
