First day, first M&P

Took my new M&P to the range today after class. 125 rounds later I was very happy.

The thing shot wonderfully. Accuracy was great, not as good as my Taurus PT1911, but still really good. The trigger took some getting used to to, but by the middle of the second mag I had it down.

Only real problem was that it did not hold open after one magazine. I immediatly put another one in and it held open after the 17th round. I refilled the mag that it failed on and everything was fine after that.

The only thing that I did not like was the ejection. Several of the rounds were right back in my face, and the rest were no more than a few feet away. Maybe I am just being a picky. My CZ and 1911 throw the brass a good way so that is what I am used to. My P1 ejects a lot like the M&P.
