I finally got my new M&P 9 to the range, and everything went well. 150 rounds of range reloads, WWB 115 gr FMJ, and 115 gr Silvertips. Fed great, cycled great, nice and controllable. I am hitting low and left, but I always do with a new pistol. With the Insight X2 Laser/light dialed in I was hitting about 1-1/2" five shot groups at 50 feet, and I can live with that for now. Once I get it (and me) shot in a little, I want to try the different grip inserts. When I get confortable with the reliability, probably about 1000 rounds, this (and the Insight X2) guy gets a transfusion of DPX and takes up bedside residence. I love the cost of practice ammo versus my .40 and .45.
