I picked up my first m&p yesterday and finally got to shoot it today. I only had time to put 50 rounds thru it but I was SO satisfied with the feel. I was expecting more muzzle jump and all together more recoil than I actually felt. I'm so glad I picked the m&p over the block and xd.

I own a .40c as well and i love the gun. I had the opportunity to shoot a XD 40 last week, i have to say that my MP had much less felt recoil. The XD also felt like a square plastic block in my hand.

You made a great choice.

i'm going to put another 50 through it today. I spent several hours last night modifiying my inside the pant holster to make it more comfortable for me. I was a little concerned about carrying this as my CCW but with the holster like it is now... it conceals just as good as my other gun. Well not quite...my other one is a kel tec p3at. your not going to get much smaller than that.

Wait til you get 500+ down range. She gets better with time.

I'm looking forward to it, I've actually already noticed a slight change in the trigger action with just a 150 through it,

If I had my way I'd like to go over 500 this weekend..but need to build up some more play money before that happens..

put another 50 thru it today. (makes 100 total) and I Love it, love it, love it... I could not be happier with it so far. I did however, dig out one of the Blazer Brass bullets out of the dirt and noticed that all of the jacket that comes in contact with the barrell was gone. I don't know if this is normal for the blazer loads or not,but i think i'll be doing a very thorough cleaning tonight. I would love to put several hundred more thru it but that would be cutting into my Jeep funds...

Nashville, where'd you pick yours up? I used to go to Guns & Leather or Gun City USA when I was in that part of the US. Good people in both places.
