Since we were discussing good deals on flashlights I thought I'd post what All Battery has going on. For those not familiar they have some of the best prices on pretty good rechargeable batteries and good deals on everything from basic to very good chargers. Especially if you catch a sale item and or get one of their frequent percent off or free shipping codes. I buy my rechargeables exclusively from them.
Right now they have a sale on a "CREE XR-E (4W) LED Aluminum Flashlight" for $29 with ten 1300mAh CR123A lithium batteries included in the deal. I bought one and it's surprisingly good. I'm sure it lacks the fancy electronics but it's cheap enough that on receiving it and trying it out I ordered a second for my car. http://www.all-battery.com/index.asp?PageA...amp;ProdID=1965
I also ordered their "12W Luxeon K2 LED Flashlight" with ten 1300mAh CR123A batteries for $48. They claim 160 lumens. Once again it's not fancy. But it's good enough for my night stand. I should have it in 3-4 days and will post when I try it out. http://www.all-battery.com/index.asp?PageA...amp;ProdID=1988
Later I'll get one of the more expensive ones that somebody else posted. But for now these are affordable and I can afford to toss a 10 pack of batteries in the car for emergencies. When I bought mine there was a 20% off flashlights code but I don't know if it's still any good. Code = flash09
For those looking for a very good charger for Ni-MH AA and AAA batteries I can recommend their T-6988 IC controlled charger. It holds 10 and has an auto cutoff feature with trickle charge and a battery reconditioning mode (slow). http://www.all-battery.com/index.asp?PageA...mp;Category=400
Here is the main on sale page. http://www.all-battery.com/index.asp?PageA...mp;Category=400

All Battery gives two options to those 'spreading the word' about deals. One gives the poster the opportunity to "earn" a $30 credit and the other does not give the poster anything. I chose to link using the 'nothing in it for me' option to avoid the taint of Spam.
