Any FNP 9 or FNP 40 owners on here?

I am thinking of getting one.... Can you post your opinions on this weapon?

Thanks.

I researched these guns alot and I thought I was going to be a owner of one. I sent the guy money and everything. Didn't hear back from him in a few days and then he writes back and tells me he sold it to someone local. I did get my money back but still ticked me off.

I'm not sure where you have been but their is a thread here on them and if you go to their forum you can read up on them.

Also, combat handguns just did a article on the FNP9 and talked well of the gun. All the homework I did was very favorable.

Good luck!

Just one? Dude, you can't buy just one. That's the drawback of the FNP's.

I've got an FNP-9, and it's my favorite pistol. It shoots better than I can-really. I took a friend with me to the range one time, and he's never used a pistol before, and he loved it. It comes apart like a Sig, looks kind of like an HK, and is built really well. They come with 3 mags too. The 9mm's come with 16 round mags, and the .40sw's come with 14 round mags (10 rounds for some states though). Stainless slide, and changeable backstrap too.

Oh, and the FNP-45 is coming out this year too. Sweeeeeeeeeeeet gun!
Got myself a FNP-9 recently. Love the feel of the gun. 2 back straps. First time to the range I had a few FTF & FTE's with the 100 white box Wal-Mart ammo. Also a few failures to lock back slide on last shot. All the other hotter rounds were flawless. Felt recoil was very light.

Cleaned gun. Very simple take down, only took seconds. Locked slide in open position for 3 days & went back to range. Fired 90rds. Wal-Mart white box WW again. 20rds corbon 115g +P JHP & 20rds Fed. Hi- Shok 115g JHP. Gun performed flawlessly. Felt recoil seems really light. Fast follow up shots. First shot is a long & some what heavy ,but smooth DA trigger pull. Follow up SA shots are light, Maybe 4# and fairly smooth. Accuracy seemed average for this type of pistol.

So far I'm very pleased I bought this pistol. I almost bought a M&P & have no regrets. Also, I forgot to mention that most of the shooting I did was just point shooting, no sights, and the FNP performed quite well.

I got the FNP 40, tu0tone w/ nightsights, and was able to get to the range yesterday. I am very impressed with this handgun!

Only fired 200 rounds but it was with 3 brands of hollow points and some WWB practice ammo.

Everything fed great and had no problems of any kind. Accuracy was very good. Hit point of aim and the gun is far more accurate than I am.

Disassembly is quick and easy. Comes with 3, 14 rounds magazines.

Excellent

Glad to hear you like it. I know I will be adding one sometime in the future!
I really want one in 9mm. I dry fired one at a gun show - and it had a sweet DA pull. Smoothest I've seen on a DA/SA gun before

Can anyone who owns the FNHs tell me what the trigger reach measurement is from the rear of the receiver to the front of the trigger and how does that measurement compare to the M&P and Glock17.

That's what sold me on the FNP-9. It not only had a good feel, but the trigger pull was smooth. It's simple to take apart and clean. I don't know how it would compare with the M&P and Glock in trigger pull length, but to me, it isn't too long. Shoots where you are pointing, and I like the arched backstrap better, but not by much. I'm looking forward to the FNP-45. Best purchase I ever made on a handgun.
The FNP-45 will be available sometime during the summer. Exact date has not yet been announced. You can see the FNP-45 on their website. Looks pretty sweet.
