It was easy. I used a small 40w soldering iron that I had sanded the tip to a point. I practiced on one of the backstraps that I wasn't going to use. The whole process took 20 minutes tops.



It definitely makes a difference in the grip (huge improvement) in my mind. I love my M&P even more now.



I wish I had photgraphed it step by step for you guys to use but it's really simple. If I think about it tonight, I'll post a picture of my modified soldering iron.
