I got my 40 full size for $425 normal price at a local gun shop. $400 is cheap, but not cheap enough to buy one if your not already in the market for one.

^ i'd disagree, 400 is a great price to buy on the spot.

At a gun show in VA. the M&p 40c was going for 419.00. My local store has it for 499.00.

I paid $402.00 for my full sized MP 40 caliber at the Denton, Tx gun show back in July of 2006. But then I paid $499.00 for my MP 9c at a Plano, Tx. gun store in Dec. of 2006. I probably could have beat the price on the compact but didn't want to take the time to shop around.
