The best fit is usually found for holsters recommended for the Glock 20 & 21, the Classic Lite isn't offered for that model. There are more and more holsters becoming available for the M&P, more new things coming all the time.
Galco Classic Lite
I just got the Galco Classic Lite shoulder holster for the USP Compact 45. I tried the version for Glock models 17,22,19,23 and it was entirely too small. My full size M&P fit really tight even with the tension bolt loosened to it's max.
I noticed on the package that this model is also made for the XD, so since the XD is blockier I put my subcompact in, tightened the bolt, then I pressed on the edges of the frame and slide. After that the M&P fit like a glove. Easily retrievable and still snug enough to be held and shaken upside down and unsnapped without budging.
This is my first shoulder holster so I have nothing to compare it to but I can say that this is very comfortable. I've been wearing it at night after work and sometimes I can almost forget it's there. I'll see this weekend how well it carries for all-day use.
