Just picked up my 15T. I'm really excited to go shoot it tomorrow.

I essentially know nothing about this gun so I'm spending the night

learning and reading about how it operates.. so if any of you pro's

have any helpful advice for nooBs, I'll be all ears.

I'm also getting a 9mm sigma for $99 as advertised by Smith.

The pistol pictured below is my 45 m&p sorry about the crappy pic quality.

Go to WalMart or a similar store, buy a BLACK washcloth, use that to wipe the rifle down without leaving a lot of visible lint, also wipe the receiver down with a little CLP, it will darken the black anodized finish and make it a uniform black color, it just looks better, it doesn't take much, just a little.

Thx all, and thx for the tips G56, Ill make sure to take your advice. 8)

I guess I got a few questions... 1st I would like to know when cleaning the gun

what parts do I need to make sure to oil well. The manual to my MP45 was clear

on this but the 15T manual doesn't specify. I know this may be a preference type

thing but I honestly don't know where to start.. 2nd is it ok to dry fire the weapon?

Smith's website says it ok on there pistols but says nothing about their rifles. :?:

Thx Shipwreck.

I added a holographic sight to my set up today.

I also placed an order to Rainier Arms. Anyone

know how fast or slow they usually ship items?

Ranier ships very fast. However with the holiday backlog with the PO, I wouldn't look for it before next Saturday at best. Go to www.44mag.com and stock up on some mags. Ranier, Bravo Co, PK and 44mag all use Priority Mail. Much faster than UPS. Welcome to the sickness. (BRD)
