I got my two rifles in today... Mosin-Nagant 1930 and Mosin-Nagant 1938 carbine... after about 30 minutes of love with brake parts cleaner to get the grease that the drunk f'n russian gun maker spilled all over the things, they look great!

ALSO, I found in my e-mail upon returning to my laptop, this happy piece of news:

Your nightvisionsales.com order has shipped. Sent is:

1 x IOR Valdada Rangefinding Binoculars 10x25mm B/GA B/GA 10x25 Binoculars

2 x Trijicon TA31RCO-A4 ACOG 4x32 Scope with BAC USMC Rifle Combat Optic (RCO) for A4 20 inch barrel

Great day... great day.

Your still kinda gay for referring to yourself as grim

LOL Grimwulff was my World of Warcraft char, so i'm used to saying it in 3rd person so people know which char is me.

Anyways... I thought it would make more sense then saying Logan, because some people here might not know my first name.

Man I'm jealous. My wife told me that the next gun I buy would be my last so I have to lay low for a while. What are you gonna put the ACOG's on?

My 2 ARs. Both are 20" barrels, but one is a bull barrel, the other is just a regular thickness... they are some pictures of 'em in my picture thread in the Gallery: http://mp-pistol.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=7506&start=0

My fiancee has learned not to say anything when I'm buying stuff, because I could care less what her opinion is until she gets a job. I really care about her, but if i'm going to be the one working and risking my health, then I get free reign on personal spending

Yeah, but paying MSRP on optics would be craziness.

No matter what you paid you have some super nice scopes coming your way, and you won't be disappointed.

I first used an ACOG when I went shooting with some scouts (snipers) from my old unit I love em big time......When I go to the dark side of the ar world I WILL not use eotech or aimpoint ACOG is where my money will go..

p.s. If the red arrow is too bright just throw some duct tape on top where the red fluid is it will black out the arrow. I dont know how many people know about that

Will do! I really want to take some pics of these rifles... they're screaming for some photo action now that i've taken the grease off of them!

Man, I think the day those scopes come in i'm going to be putting some good brass to use at the local gun range

A man without a Finn is Mosin_less.......... 8)

The Finnish Mosins actually have higher muzzle velocity, energy, and distance using the same round. Tad bit of trivia.

Depends on the Finn, some (like one of mine) were re-furbed battle captures using the original barrel. Some (I think the 28 model) had tighter bores when they considered going to a .308 bullet, I'm guessing the muzzle velocity might be higher on them considering the increased chamber pressure with ~.311 bullets.

Where most Finns stand out is the ability of the rifle to shoot a LOT better than the shooter (at least in my case with my geriatric eyes) using mil-surp ammo. All my 39's shoot way better than I do

So, when you gonna get a Finn?

The ACOG is in! I got it tonight (been messing with it and reading the manual, hence the slight delay)! Also, my fiancee borrowed her mom's camera, so i'll be posting pics of the ACOG and my new rifles tomorrow!

Why wait? You've already bought some Mosins and the Swiss w/out the C&R

I'm going to an auction in early November that has a Finn 39. I'm hoping to come home without it but........
