Guns destroyed

The city of Richmond melted down over 600 seized guns from their evidence vaults and had them melted down into plumbing pipes. What a waste, sure they're not on the street, but some of them would look better in my closet. The Bay Area sucks.

They could of made a lot of revenue for the city by selling to citizens. That's what happens when you only think with the left side of your brain.
Something about destroying evidence doesnt sit well with me...
No these guns were from cases already prosecuted and closed. Heh, they wouldn't melt guns in cases that were pending. We're not that back-asswards here on the left coast ;>

Unless the participants are deceased, it doesn't matter. New technology comes to light after years and years that aquite people of crimes they didn't commit. They are destroying evidence that could close cases that were previously unknown to be related....

My thoughts exactly. The pinkos NEVER cease to amaze me with their "progressive" ways of....errr.... "thinking"....      The pinkos in Kalifornia have even managed to turn the "Govenator" into a shameless, sniveling, liberal, pinko, useless, pansy POS.

Sad.

honestly, i donno if i'm gonna buy a gun which was used in crime...

they could have sold it and made some money i agree tho
Eh, I'm not going to argue the money point on guns from criminal investigations. I'm more likely to agree with ClosetCase on the evidence thing.

However, I hate it when they destroy government guns paid for with my tax dollars rather than sell them to the public and get some cash back. VERY stupid and done here in NJ all the time.
