Hi, I'm from Harrison, OH (west side of Cincinnati). I don't own an M&P yet but I'm strongly considering getting one eventually. I've done some falling plates matches with my Ruger Mark 2 and I plan to try the weekly steel shoots at my gun club. I really shoot a lot of different disciplines and enjoy them all. I shoot at the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association in Friendship, IN, Fairfield Sportsman's Association in Ohio, and Switzerland County Sportsman's Club in Indiana. I'm wanting to get into practical shooting more. I think for now I'll compete in the .22 division at the steel shoots and eventually get an M&P 9. Just as a quick question, how does it compare to the Glock 17? I've held both guns and the M&P has a better feel.
Oh, I guess I should include some information about myself. I'm currently a pharmacy student at the University of Cincinnati (only a year and 2 months to go!). I work at Cincinnati Children's Hospital as an intern right now. Target shooting, motorcycling, and running occupy the small amount of free time I have. Shooting reduces the stress that's inherent when you work in a profession that's probably about 75% female
