just wondering how the m&p handles lead bullets? How about the copper coated one?

I'm shooting plated, and they work fine.

Have shot a ton of copper plated and polymer coated all work well.

tell u what, i shot lead in my sigma at the range and i almost chocked to death during one speed round from the smoke.

Ya, I had that problem with my XD40 also. Had to load really light to avoid so much smoke with cast.

I put almost 500 170grSWC's (copper washed) thru mine yesterday,> I had a bunch of old IPSC loads for a comp gun to burn up (178pf). No problems at all w/leading, just ran a bore brush thru it when I finished.

So far I've put probably 3k lead rds thru it.

I shoot lead through my M&P40. I use 170 gr lead cast bullets. I cast my bullets out of straight wheelweights and they work fine. I use a good quality hard lube and I do not have a smoke problem.
