I took the slide off the frame to clean everything up. After cleaning, I reassembled the spring into the slide, and placed it back on the frame. As I slid it back, the slide stopped moving, and the barrel is staying down to where the slide can't move forward, like the bottom of te barrel is hung up. Any ideas ????

It could be the slide takedown lever stuck in the way (the one you have to pivot to get the slide off). If it isn't all the way pointed down it will catch on the barrel. It will feel kinda spring loaded when you hold it down (90 degree perpendicular to where it ends up) while you move the slide past it.

Are you saying the barrel is stuck and the slide won't come off or go on???
