Let me first say I will not be using WWB in my 9c or maybe not at all I wish I could post pics but they will come when I get home. We arrived and met the nra instructor and old vfw commander to escort us non-gun club members to a wonderful outdoor range with targets at 25, 50, 100, 200. I was loading my mags when I noticed one of my 9mm rounds to be crooked with the shell I was able to pull the round out with no problem and just using my hand when I looked at it I noticed on the brass about a 1/4 inch puncture gash and the round was also damaged (if I would have loaded this I would be in the hospital now) I took pics and will post them in about 1 1/2 weeks I need my computer at home in-laws have nothing for me to drop my pics.. I had 4 problems 2 stovepipes and 2 ftes all with my 9c so I came to the conclusion NO WWB for my 9c. I had no issues with my full size 40.. I was able to also shoot a colt 45 a kimber 45 (which the kimber is now on my list  ) I also shot a 22 pistol a 22 rifle a 30-06, and the 280 that I may be buying.. So all in all it wasnt too bad my shoulder kind of hurts from firing 12 rounds from the .280 but hey as of monday I will be a member of the VFW and I got to shoot so far so good...-Jason

wether it is factory loaded or you own reload, always check the rounds as you are putting them in the mag. Just for this reason!! Glad you caught it!! I don't/won't use anything wolf for similar reasons.

Vacation is still wondrful as always going to hit lake Michigan and throw the dogs in there for a while they love it and seeing how friggin cold lake michigan is you can always find an open beach where no one will harass you.. Emailed Winchester about the ammo problem snd emphasized how serious I thought this was and will get a response in 24-48 hours will keep you infromed-Jason

At the range the other night (since this is the range forum) , I fired 200 rounds of WWB without any problems, but I'll echo the posts here and elsewhere that it's dirty. I'll be shooting something else besides WWB when it comes to practice rounds.
