I was driving home from work yesterday and I heard an ad for those who want to donate frequent flyer miles to our hero's overseas so I went to their website http://www.heromiles.org/

My wife and I decided to donate our miles. Has anyone else heard of this? :?:

Military members and their family/depemdants can fly on Government Aircraft(C-130, C-5, C-17, KC-135, et) for free whenever they want as long as there are seats available. The only downside is there may or may not be a flight heading where you're wanting/needing to go right when you're ready.



I would donate, but as a person in the Air Force with a flyer's position I fly everywhere I need to go for free - both on government aircraft, and commercial. I wish I could donate, though. That's an extremely nice thing you and your wife did.
