new member from north georgia - searched this site enough times, figured i'd join in.

owned a pile of M&P's - some stayed, many of them others liked more .

bought a shield 45 back when they first hit street - a regular carry since then

with the rebates in place and some good clearance prices around, just picked up a 9mm 2.0 compact OR..
will it stay or will it go ?

thanks for letting me in y'all !

Welcome to the forum.

Will it stay or will it go? Depends on what you want to do with and whether or not you can.

What kind of optic are putting on it? Variety of preferences on the forum here. I run Holosons but there are lots more brands out there.

I can say, my M&Ps never cared what type of bullet I loaded in the magazines, they fed out and went into the chamber just fine.

My 2.0 9MM is a 5". The best shooting factory ammo I've found is the Winchester 124 grain FMJ NATO ammo. I've seen people on other forums say the same thing, that ammo just shoots good in the big M&Ps.

And, we do like to see pictures and read range reports, too.

So, did it stay or go?
I have the Shields in 9, 40S&W and 45Auto. All three are in the carry rotation. Over the years, I have traded-in or sold a gun or two and now regret ever letting one go. Keep that 45 if you still have it.
