Dupont Krytox XHT is a really high Temp. performance lubricant.

Anyone ever tried it? It's really good to use on buffer springs.

I use the stuff all the time at work. It's pretty pricey too at $60- $120 per tube. Never thought of using it on a wep due to cost but if you had a DGI gas system as most do and perhaps had full auto then it might be useful. It wont cook off a hot bolt, thats for sure.

Guess Ill have to try it and report back in.
I think I can spare 250 rounds to do a test in a few weeks. I'm up to my ears in work right now.

Well after months of testing... It's awesome! Piston/ DGI it dont matter. A coating of the oil wont get burned away by the carbon. It stays put and allowed cleaning time to be cut down seriously.

BCG stayed 'wet', o... I love this stuff.
