Looking at pictures of the M&P...I must say the basepads on the magazines look rather large, kind of like a duckbill or rim on a hat near the front. Does anybody notice that when you carry an extra magazine?

No. As a matter of fact due to the rounded nature of the basepad I cant feel it at all in my Fobus mag holder.

cool, thanks. I should be getting my M&P next week. Primarily for IDPA but I'd like carry it (with an extra mag) every now and then.
