Did they have them in stock??

Yamil,

I had a customer that called into them to tell them to hold a few for me until I had a chance to call them in the afternoon they told him they had a bunch of what I was after.... the 40s with the mag disco.

I know you production guys like the 9's but I really like the 40's bigger hole. on a close shot it may break the line where the 9 wouldn't

I know cheaper ammo... but, I reload even for my 9s I just prefer the heavier bullets with pinch of powder.

Good point, But witht he current price of components, I might start reloading 9mm!!

I have 2 5-Gallon buckets of Once-Fired Federal 9mm Brass, Have powder and Primers, just need some 115Gr or 124Gr Bullets, and there I go!!!

40 is too Snappy for me, I'm a Wuz!!
Yamil,

Not all 40 is snappy just depends on the load the light ones do tend to be snappy but the same goes for 9s.

for 40 you need to try some 200 grain heads over a bit of either titegroup or VV320, way softer than any 9 ammo you could ever buy.

if you insist on shooting 9s try some 147 grainers over the same powders as above. I have shot some 22's with more recoil than either of the above loads.

For Limited I shoot a lead 200 Gr with 3.9gr of VV 320 at the Length of 1.200"

That makes major and it's soft!!!

Are all 147Gr's Truncated Cones, or do they have any Round Nose??
I usually use the masterblaster's truncated cones. Laser cast makes a round nose, but they tend to be really smokey

YUCK, I hate Smokey Bullets!

I'll be looking at the Midway site and see what they have!!

Thanks
yseud,

There are makes out there that have RN 147gr bullets. Precision Delta and Zero come to mind, as well as Berrys.
Guys, keep it on topic, Make another post if you want to talk about loads.

Why are some selling for $522 and other $369???
NS= Night sights, makes cost the difference
Looks like having the Lock is another $80 as well. Could this be?

No, it's the model with no mag disconnect thats's $447. I never saw one with a lock. I guess there are a couple out there but I never saw one. Are you confusing the lock with the mag disconnect? They are two different things.
I am not sure. On the site they have listed "S&W M&P9 9mm 4.25 LOCK 17RD"

Then under safety it says, " Mag Safety" In fact i see 6 different 9mm variations. Hmm...

Your right cancow. I just went to the S&W site and looked up the specs for the 9MM M&P 209001 and it is lock equipped with a mag safety also. I would think this would be the least desirable model. I have M&Ps with and W/O the mag safety and I don't mind either. I would not buy one with the lock though. When it come to marketing a product sometimes the price diferences are obvious and sometimes they are not. I guess this is one of those not cases. That's why I don't question how Bud's can sell them at that price. If I can get a no lock M&P high capacity for $370 I just don't spend my time wondering how they do it. I just enjoy the ride.
