How many times have you said - "This is it, I don't need anymore guns?"

How many times have you guys said to yourself - Ok, I am good. I don't need anything else (gun wise). Or, maybe said that there is nothing else out ya want?

Over the course of 30 years, I've said that to myself many times. But, it never seems to hold true :)

I will say that after owning so many different things - at the present time, there is nothing I want that is out. That could change. And, I have some hope for some variants from S&W that would interest me. But as of right now, this moment - there are no guns out that I want, that I don't already have.

What about you?

I have all I need that covers the gamut from .22s to 7.62 x39, and 30-06 to .38s, 9mms, 45s, and 12 gauges.

The only firearm I 'want' is the S&W FPC with an optic and perhaps a suppressor that will work on several firearms and calibers.

If I don't get what I want I'll not cry about it and will be perfectly fine with what I do have.

I have all I "need." Had that years ago.

I've gone years between buying another gun. And I've gone a week.

Well, while I really don’t “need” any more; I’m not saying that!

There was about a three year period where I didn’t buy any guns at all. I was doing a lot of training then, and was spending my $$ on training fees, range fees, travel, and lodging.
It was well worth it, and I still go to 1-2 training courses a year…. 👍👍

More than I need and more than I can shoot in one range visit. But that's okay. A little variety is nice.

I have nothing on my radar at the moment. In this state we're working on my not being an automatic felon. Extra cash goes there.

I've been making fewer new purchases and have instead stepped up my training. Not nearly enough, but a good start.

If only more folks would do that!
They’d probably amaze themselves…. 😀

I know it was an epiphany for me. 👍

I notice that no one has actually kept count of the number of times they have "said that." I have not counted either, but almost all the other times, I amended the statement with "for now." Now, however, I can honestly say that I am very pleased with my small collection of guns that I actually do use, and although I won't make a firm statement, I really do not feel there will be another one coming home with me.

(Notice how I skirted around any statement that sounded absolute? -- Like always, because one really never knows....)

I'm not familiar with that foreign language. One of the dead languages? A cryptologist created code? Not sure how to answer an incomprehensible question.

Not possible. I just added a Ruger Super Wrangler to my list as I mainly wait to use it as a .22 Magnum. And, of course, the FPC 9mm although I likely be waiting until next year to give S&W a chance of work all of the problems out of it. I am not interested in being their beta tester.

I'm curious. What are the problems of the FPC 9mm?
None that I recall but, if I did, it's easily overridden by "I want that!"

I didn't think i could possibly need another gun, BUT, after a manufacturer show at KY Gun Co, my thoughts have changed (LOL). I want one of these in the worst way!
