New member, been lurking here for a week or so.



My agency issues Glocks, but permits Deputies to carry personally owned pistols (I'm one of 4 still authorized to carry 1911s) The Glock is a great gun, but it just doesn't fit my hands; the grip is slightly too large, and has too much of a steep angle.



I recently bought a Springfield XD9 that I'm not too happy with, so I'm looking at the M&P 9 as a possible replacement, and I'm trying to learn all I can about them before I sell my XD for the funds to buy one.



I wish I knew someone close by who has an M&P and would be willing to let me shoot it; I'm a firm believer in "try before you buy."

Welcome to the site. Alot of people have covered this thread, there is plenty of info on the site for you, just might have to dig a little. But you will have alot of people replying to your post.



You have a few okies right next door to you, Buy the ammo I dont think they would mind....lol
